2025 Sashiko Lamé -en-
We have added gold and aurora glitter variations to the classic white sashiko.
Why not add a little sparkle to your usual sashiko?
●New colors inspired by the beautiful scenery of Japan In Japan, it has long been natural to express the fleeting sparkles found in nature in various words. The new colors inspired by that beauty go perfectly with traditional Japanese patterns as well as flower and tree patterns.
Enjoy sashiko that creates a different atmosphere with the addition of glitter.

SL11 Asatsuyu (Morning dew)
"Asatsuyu" refers to the dew that forms on grass and leaves in the morning. Since ancient times, "Asatsuyu" has been used to express the transience of life and the sadness of love, as the dew disappears. The sparkle of the water droplets that fall for a short time at the beginning of the morning is expressed with aurora glitter.

Recommended usage
The delicate sparkle of the glitter stands out when used in a kuguri zashi that gives the impression of flowing water.

SL12 Ama no Gawa (the Milky Way)
In the past, people likened the band of many stars shining in the dark night to a river flowing through the sky and called it “Ama no Gawa”. “Ama no Gawa” is also the setting for the Tanabata legend. The white sparkling stars are accented with gold sparkles to represent “Ama no Gawa” stretching across the night sky.

Recommended usage
If you embroider a star-like pattern, you can enjoy the sparkle of a star-filled sky.

SL13 Hanaikada
"Hanaikada" is a word that describes the scene of so many cherry blossom petals that they cover the surface of the water and float down the river like a raft. The deep pink of the overlapping petals and the bright spring sunlight are expressed.

Recommended Usage
It's a bright and cute color that makes you want to embroider floral patterns, including cherry blossoms.

SL14 Minamo (water surface)
"Minamo" is a combination of "mizu" (water) + "na" (adverb) + "omote" (surface).
The bright blue of a beautiful lake and the glittering reflection on the water's surface are expressed with glitter.

Recommended Usage
Recommended for designs that express water, such as the "Shizuku (H-1069)" and "Cherry Blossoms in Riverside (36)" designs.

SL15 Yozakura
“Yozakura” refers to cherry blossoms that bloom at night.
Cherry blossoms continue to bloom at night, and when illuminated by moonlight, they take on a mysterious atmosphere that is different from the daytime. The color of the cherry blossoms seen at night and the light of the full moon filtered through them are expressed with gold glitter.

Recommended Usage
If you embroider it on Navy fabric, you can enjoy the unique beauty of cherry blossoms blooming at night.
